Job Summary
The Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation is seeking a Research Assistant Professor to support and extend the development and implementation of the Center for Disability Health and Wellness (CDHW) and the completion of scholarly, training and administrative responsibilities involved with its associated grants. This work will directly impact the development of an index and intervention being developed to enhance access to safe, accessible healthcare for people with disabilities, aligning with CDHW's mission and vision.
Responsibilities*
Executing or assisting in funded research projects in addition to grant writing activities. They will be expected to progress establishing their own funding as part of their appointment to the research track. This will include identifying new research opportunities and fostering collaborations with external researchers and stakeholders. They will also be involved in mentoring graduate students and co-mentoring postdoctoral researchers.
