Job Summary
The Kaczorowski lab is looking to fill a position for a Research Lab Technician Intermediate.
A full-time research technician position is available in the Kaczorowski lab in the Department of Neurology at the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Michigan Kaczorowski Lab (umich.edu). We are seeking a laboratory technician with experience in rodent handling and molecular biology techniques to work on several exciting projects involving rodent modeling of neurodegenerative diseases including Alzheimer's disease and Huntington's disease.
Responsibilities*
The successful candidate will participate in animal handling, animal behavior assays, mouse genotyping, immunohistochemistry, and assisting with the management of transgenic mouse colonies. In addition, they will supervise and help train undergraduate research assistants and junior technicians in the lab. We are looking for someone that has the aptitude to learn new techniques, works well with others, and possesses strong critical thinking skills.

Background Screening
