The College of Education, Health, and Human Services has an opening for a Research Assistant (temporary).
The Department of Health & Human Services seeks a highly motivated graduate student to join our interdisciplinary research team. The selected candidate will conduct a literature review on state-of-the-art air pollution monitoring techniques and effective strategies for communicating environmental data, with an emphasis on climate adaptation and youth engagement.
Project Overview: The Badania do Dzialania (Research for Action) project builds on the existing DigiClimAct initiative to advance climate adaptation efforts in the South Baltic region, focusing on Gdansk, Poland, and with collaboration between the University of Michigan and Gdansk University of Technology's Digital Architecture Lab. This project seeks to understand and improve how air pollution data is monitored and communicated, engaging youth in shaping climate adaptation discourse and local policy.
